Rough day yesterday on the moneylines. Got too cocky. Placed too many. Lesson re-learnt.
Seattle at Kansas City
It’s scary going against Seth Lugo, but Bryan Woo is a horse we want, and this is a pretty good price on the surface for Mariners vs. Royals.
Pick: Seattle to win –115. 6.24 units to win 5.43.
NBA Finals
We’re getting to the point where we aren’t sure whether the price will be more expensive than this once the Finals start. Without any value on the Thunder or Spurs, though, this is what we’re doing.
Pick: New York to win +320. 2.00 units to win 6.40.
Western Conference
There’s a lot of value to like out there today, but this is the best non-Canadiens value we see. And we’ve got a lot on the Canadiens already (with more available tomorrow).
Pick: Vegas to win –230. 2.00 units to win 0.87.

These numbers are for the 2025–26 effort, which is currently scheduled to end at the end of the NBA Finals or Stanley Cup Final (whichever comes second). Sorry for the poor transparency. We’ll do a better job tracking the 2026–27 campaign, which is already underway with our MLB futures portfolio.
2025–26: –671.22 units (started with 1,000-unit bankroll)
2025–26: –7% average ROI (weighted by unit; sample size: 1,160 single-game markets plus seven completed futures portfolios and two partly completed futures portfolios)
Pre-2025: 0% average ROI (worse when limited to only sports)
Units taken from best odds we can find at major sportsbooks available to most Americans.
