NIT Bracketology Rundown – March 8th

No changes to our NIT Bracketology today, after all five teams with a shot to play their way in went and won.

Disastrous night.

But hey—that’s only for them.

For the rest of you, here’s how things stack up:

First Four Out: Santa Clara, Cincinnati, UCF, Nebraska

Same as yesterday, and…

Next Four Out: Utah, Wake Forest, UNLV, Marshall

…same as yesterday.

Conference Complications: Sam Houston State, Kent State, Dayton (kind of)

Charleston leaves (good riddance!) and nobody joins.

Automatic Dreams: Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Yale, Iona, Vermont, Colgate

Oral Roberts leaves (kind of sad about this one) and that leaves us with a maximum of eighteen automatic bids: These five, the twelve in our bracket, and FAU.

Losers: Oklahoma, Ohio State

Oklahoma, barring an Invisible .500 Rule™ change, needs to get to .500 to get in.

Ohio State needs a time machine.

Whole lot more today. Go basketball.
