At Dodger Stadium last night, there was a blackout.
They got them turned on, of course, but it took a while. And in the meantime, Joe Kelly warmed up.
Was the blackout yet another attempt by the Major League Baseball establishment to silence Joe Kelly? If so, it didn’t work. Our hero managed a scoreless frame, striking out one and walking one and looking really cool while he did it.
Keep an eye on those light switches, Dodgers. Joe Kelly’s not going away.
