Three Things: Shōta Imanaga Continues to Get It

1. Shōta Imanaga: Global Hero

We’re going full Chicago for today’s things. Look out, losers (by that I mean the Bears).

Shōta Imanaga gets better and better. We had him singing Go Cubs Go. We had him entering to Chelsea Dagger. Now, he and Christopher Morel have a hug thing going on?

I’m almost worried by how perfect this seems. I’m almost concerned Imanaga is simply a very good self-marketer, or has hired a great team around him. I’m almost scared Imanaga realized that the quickest way to all of our hearts would be to make clear he cares about Cubs fans, subliminally associate himself with Patrick Kane, and then make himself Christopher Morel’s best friend.

Thankfully, it’s equally possible Morel just wanted to hug someone and Imanaga happened to be there. Morel is 100% a hugger.

2. What Caleb Williams Should Have Said

Greg McElroy said this week that Caleb Williams has never faced adversity, and somehow, in a war of words with Greg McElroy, Caleb Williams came out looking like the loser. You lost that Utah game by three touchdowns, buddy. That wasn’t just your hamstring.

Anyway, Imanaga has inspired me to image consult. Here is what Williams should have said:

“Coming from the dude who had Kirby Smart as his defensive coordinator.”

That’s all he had to say! Turn this back on Greg McElroy. Greg McElroy is the easiest successful quarterback to make fun of in the whole world.

3. Andre Drummond and Torrey Craig: Ready for the Play-In Tournament

Maybe I should have included the Bulls in the “loser” parenthetical above.

Oh wait.

PLAY-IN TOURNAMENT’S COMING UP!

To get ready, last night Torrey Craig and Andre Drummond did this.

The Hawks are so fucked. The Bulls were born for this game.
