Let’s start with the important thing.
The Senators outhit the Jets again.
Ok now the bad stuff:
The Final:
Jets 6, Senators 3
How It Happened:
Sens had the lead through two, but things seem to have really fallen apart in the third. I’m just going off the list of goals here, but man. Tied with five minutes left and they lost by three. Ouch.
Any Fights?
Yeah, but I just watched it and it was kind of boring. Michael Haley (Senators) fought Nathan Beaulieu (Jets) and I think it was a draw. Maybe it got the Senators going? Helped ‘em get that second-intermission lead? Wasn’t enough, clearly. But the hits, though.
Standings:
Still in last place. Might want to get comfortable.
Montreal: 10 points, 6 games played
Winnipeg: 8 pts, 5 GP
Toronto: 8 pts, 6 GP
Calgary: 5 pts, 3 GP
Edmonton: 4 pts, 6 GP
Vancouver: 4 pts, 7 GP
YOUR BELOVED OTTAWA SENATORS: 3 pts, 5 GP
Senators News:
Didn’t even look for a recap of the game. Someone could’ve died and…Ok, I should probably check to make sure no one died.
Ok yeah no one died.
Senators Thoughts:
It’s a long play, folks.
What’s Next:
Thankfully, not another game against Winnipeg. Sens go out west this week, play three straight in Vancouver. Looking for four points (I don’t know how many points they’re looking for but that’s my personal goal for the Ottawa Senators).
