The Senators Are On Fire

The Senators are hot. Hotter than Flames.

The Final:

Senators 6, Flames 1

How It Happened:

Sens scored twice within the first ten minutes, and while Calgary answered early in the second, the guys roared right back and pulled away.

Any Fights?

None. Doesn’t even look like any penalties were called. Just good, clean hockey from the fellas.

Standings:

Gaining.

Toronto: 32 points, 21 games played
Edmonton: 25 points, 22 games played
Winnipeg: 25 points, 19 games played
Montreal: 22 points, 19 games played
Calgary: 20 points, 21 games played
Vancouver: 18 points, 24 games played
YOUR BELOVED OTTAWA SENATORS: 15 points, 22 games played

Senators News:

I’m very new to Senators fanhood, so yesterday was the first I heard of Brian Fraser, but he’s evidently a bit of an Ottawa legend. He died yesterday at 26 from leukemia. Here are some remembrances of him.

Senators Thoughts:

Really seem to be coming together right now.

What’s Next:

Rematch tomorrow, second of the three-game set, all of which is in Ottawa.
