It’s Mother’s Day, and we all already called our moms. Mom, Happy Mother’s Day, I love you and I hope the lilac festival was great.
What now? There are still hours and hours of the day left. Let’s talk about other people’s moms.
Joe Kelly’s Mom
Joe Kelly’s mom, Andrea Valencia, taught him how to Salsa. Probably other stuff, too, but that hasn’t been said as explicitly as the salsa part. I guess no one has ever asked Joe Kelly how he learned to talk, or how to use a toilet. We were too busy asking how he learned to dance like that!
Shaka Smart’s Mom
Shaka Smart’s mom, Monica King, taught him about relationships. Again, things beyond that, too (Bleacher Report ran a Jonathan Abrams profile on Smart in 2016 which incorporated a lot about King; it’s worth a read if you like to read). But relationships is big! It is to Shaka Smart what Salsa is to Joe Kelly.
Fargo’s Mom
Fargo’s Mom, Tipsy, was only around for the first couple months of Fargo’s life, but she did leave Fargo with a belly button, which was a funny joke. We don’t know much about Tipsy beyond that she was an F1 bernedoodle. We assume that she’s a great girl. Might be clumsy, too, given she botched the toss which separated the umbilical cord.
Mason Ramsey’s Grandma
Mason Ramsey’s grandma, Frances Ramsey, either does or has done a lot of the raising of him. To be honest, I don’t know a lot about how this 16-year-old kid’s personal life is currently set up, and that is probably a good thing.
