The Haters Tried to Slash My Tires. They Failed.

I’m developing a habit of blaming any misfortune I encounter upon “the haters.”

Which is why yesterday’s discovery of a bolt in my driver’s-side front tire was interpreted as a particularly aggressive assault by the haters upon my well-being.

Thankfully, I buy my tires at Firestone, and whether I chose this or not, I have a warranty. Tire care is important, and it isn’t something I take lightly. In fact, I probably take it too seriously. Occasionally I have nightmares in which poorly maintained tires play a role. But yeah, definitely needed to get the tire fixed. That bolt was in there real good.

For the haters, though, it was hardly a victory. Because guess what, you haters? I had a very nice day yesterday while the good people at the Firestone by Congress and Barton Springs removed the bolt and patched the tire.

Must feel bad.
