I just don’t get it. It’s the Scherzer/Kelly tandem. It’s not the Scherzer/Treinen/Jansen tandem.
Last night, the Dodgers lost 1-0. It was windy. It was hard to hit the ball out of the park. Someone did, though, and they did it off what turned out to be the Scherzer/Treinen/Jansen tandem when the Scherzer/Kelly tandem was available.
Now, they face an elimination game, and for them, hopefully two elimination games, with only one half of the Scherzer/Kelly tandem ready to go. Thankfully, for the Dodgers, it’s the more potent half.
