The NBA’s marketing potency is a double-edged sword.
Yes, sometimes it leads them to hypocritically ban free speech while supporting a dictatorial regime overseas.
But on the other side of the coin, they scheduled the Celtics to play a preseason game in the city where Tacko Fall played his college ball (and some high school ball too).
Hat off to Adam Silver on this one.
Also, this blogger hasn’t mentioned this consciously yet, but we all have to love that Tacko Fall wears number 99. It’s perfect.
