Norwich City Just Stepped in Front of a Locomotive. A Locomotive Named Burnley.

Honestly, it’s surprising Norwich City even made the trip, with relegation looming in their future. Good for them for showing up, though, on the road in Burnley for the 4th Round of the FA Cup (FA stands for Flippin’ Amazing, I’m told).

Burnley, as you may know, has been playing like the greatest team in organized footie these last two games. They’ve beaten Leicester City. They’ve beaten Man U (on the road no big deal). They’ve ascended to a higher plane of existence that could actually become a problem if other teams shoot low.

Yes, the Clarets are on fire, and Norwich City is bad, and this cup isn’t ending like that other cup where Burnley lost to a men’s league team from a bloody suburb of Newcastle. In this one, Burnley at least makes the round of 16.
