NASCAR Drives America’s Road

Credit to NASCAR. There’s a big portion of the fanbase that will say “America’s in the name of the track? We must watch today.”

Where It Is

Road America. Road course between Milwaukee and Green Bay. Don’t think it’s the one they based that Door County track on in the old EA Sports games but maybe they did. Maybe they did.

When It Is

Green flag at 2:40 PM EDT

How to Watch

NBC

Who to Watch

The Hendrick cars, of course (especially Kyle Larson—winner, and Chase Elliott—road course dude), and then Kyle Busch, and probably Martin Truex Jr. because he’s good on road courses. The broadcast will clue you in if the winner would really change the playoff picture. At least, I think it will. I’ll trust them to do that.

How NASCAR Should Script It

I like the idea of Kyle Busch getting hot. That seems fun for the sport.

Xfinity

Speaking of Kyle Busch, he won the Xfinity race, and we got some good action that might repeat itself today in the oh-good-everyone-was-ok arena:
