Just Like Old Times: Sens Got Crushed Last Night

Mmm…don’t like that.

The Final:

Oilers 7, Senators 1

How It Happened:

Emphatically.

Any Fights?

No.

Standings:

Vancouver lost too (yes, I’m just focused on sixth place right now)

Toronto: 38 points, 27 games played
Edmonton: 34 points, 28 games played
Winnipeg: 33 points, 25 games played
Montreal: 31 points, 25 games played
Vancouver: 26 points, 30 games played
Calgary: 25 points, 26 games played
YOUR BELOVED OTTAWA SENATORS: 19 points, 29 games played

Senators News:

Colin White and Ryan Dzingel both got hurt. Neither looked good. White won’t play tomorrow. Dzingel might.

Senators Thoughts:

Everyone has a few of these, right? Except the real good teams? Is that how hockey works? If so, feel like this is just noticeable because the Sens used to do it a lot and now they don’t do it that much.

What’s Next:

Either a cruel and unusual third game in Edmonton or a chance to grab a point before the series is over. Either way, it’s tomorrow (Friday) night.
