The Seattle Kraken are not the Seattle Krakens. Let’s make that abundantly clear. So Joey Daccord is not a Kraken. He is one thirtieth of a Kraken, or whatever the fraction is. I am going to be a stickler about this because somebody has to be a stickler about this.
We’ll miss Joey Daccord. I think. People seem sad to see him go. Sounds like Filip Gustavsson’s the #GoalieOfTheFuture, and I’m on board, but it feels like one of those things where an abundance of assets is helpful. Also, Daccord’s got a good smile. Great smile, in fact. Hopefully they’re doing the Trojan Horse thing I suggested. The fact Daccord went to Arizona State increases my hope he’ll be up for doing minor financial crimes.

Evgenii Dadonov, Chris Tierney, and myself were all not selected by the Kraken despite being available, and the word is the Sens will try to move the two of us they can move (I’m not leaving). Logan Brown is also on the block. I don’t know of anyone else, but sounds like things might pick up a bit more now that Seattle’s moved its moves? The dice are in the Senators’ hands, one might say? Oh also the actual draft is tomorrow?? And Saturday? Goodness. Looks like I’ll be seeing you soon (Monday is looking likely, but this is not a promise).
