IndyCar: Headline

Alright let’s see if anything cool happened in the IndyCar race yesterday.

THAT’S NOT THE TRACK!!!!!!

Classic issue with road courses. Complicated things.

Álex Palou left with engine trouble, Will Power won, Pato O’Ward is now just 21 points back of Palou (was 48 points back), Scott Dixon fell behind O’Ward and is now 34 points back of Palou (was 42 points back), and Josef Newgarden and Marcus Ericsson are now 55 and 62 points back, respectively (were 75 and 79 back).

See you next week, when IndyCar’s at…let’s see where IndyCar’s at.

Ok so this is the issue with IndyCar. The race’s name is the Bommarito Automotive Group 500, which tells you nothing about the location of the race. The little writeup on the site just talks about how the race is at World Wide Technology Raceway and how it’s similar to New Hampshire in two turns and Phoenix in two turns and something called Twin Ring Motegi in that it’s an egg-shaped oval, and that is the most boring description of a track I’ve ever read and I STILL DON’T KNOW WHERE IT IS!!!! Similarly, there is no Standings tab on their site. Just Drivers. Nothing matters in this series besides the Indy 500, and the Indy 500 is so awesome but guys come on you can have more than that. More than that is there for the taking.

Should’ve just done Indianapolis again. Goodness, guys.

Fine I looked it up it’s down in Madison, IL—by St. Louis.
