If the NHL Draft Is Over, the Senators Won It

The NHL Draft is done, right? It’s only two days?

If so…the Senators had another phenomenal draft. We just don’t know it yet. In a few years, these seeds will bear fruit, but in the meantime, there’s a lot of complaining because the Sens didn’t draft similarly to how consensus would have had them draft, and evidently the complainers forget that this front office led us, the Senators fanbase of which I am vibrantly a part, to the triumph of a sixth-place finish in a seven-team division this past season.

First pick was Tyler Boucher, and the word on him is that he hits hard, which I am about. Tells the league the Senators value violence more than any other team, which has to be intimidating even if it’s going to be a few years before Boucher’s contributing on the NHL ice. Know absolutely nothing about the later picks aside from their names and in some cases what they looked like in one picture from their play this past season.

Respect.
