I Was Kind of an AC/DC Fan in Fifth Grade

Not that I don’t like AC/DC now. I respect their work. But in fifth grade, as I remembered last night for some reason, I liked AC/DC.

I think it was because one of my friends liked AC/DC. The same friend who learned how to say “fuck you” in German and brought that knowledge to the lunch table. Wonder if he had some pent-up anger. Wonder what happened to him. He talked about AC/DC a lot. I thought I should like AC/DC too. I mean, it’s good stuff. Maybe I should break it out if I’ve gotta do some late-night driving soon.

Anyway, I briefly liked AC/DC, kind of a lot. I went from listening to the Beach Boys Greatest Hits to two mix CD’s I asked my brother to make me, one of which included three or four AC/DC songs. TNT was one of them. Hells Bells was one of them. I think For Those About to Rock (We Salute You) was one of them. There was also a bit of Jet on those CD’s. Jet doesn’t get enough love. Flagpole Sitta might’ve also been on there?

But yeah, anyway, haven’t really sought out AC/DC in a while. Used to like them a lot.
