Have We Told the Scientists About the NIT?

It is my understanding that plenty of people are working to make a vaccine for the coronavirus, and that most of them are working very hard. It is also my understanding that current estimates have the vaccine possibly coming out around the start of the new year, at which point it would gradually be deployed, beginning with the most important personnel (just kidding it’s definitely going to be deployed inefficiently and become something hyper-partisan, at least within MY country).

Anyway, I would like to speed this up. Because I would like the NIT to happen as scheduled this coming year. And so I ask:

Has anyone told the scientists about the NIT?

All I’m saying is that if the scientists knew of this glorious tournament, and of the potential that their work could allow it to resume in its standard glory, it might add a little urgency. Not that they aren’t working hard right now, of course—I just know that they might be able to reach another level with the proper motivation.

That’s all. See you soon.
