Win it. Can you imagine what a Big 12 Tournament title would do for the length of Shaka Smart’s contract extension?
On the Court
Texas is more talented. They’re more athletic. But if Texas Tech makes it a mudfight, Texas Tech is going to win, because Texas Tech wins in the mud. They’ll take shots. Texas has to roll with those. They’ll try to get it out of hand. Texas can’t let that happen. If the refs lose control of the game, so does Texas. Keep it tight, keep it composed, keep it clean. Let Brock Cunningham deal with the throwing-bodies-around.
