Burnley Goes to London

Burnley returns to the pitch today, playing Arsenal down in London with a chance to make some gains.

Whom:

Burnley @ Arsenal

What:

Burnley’s eleventh EPL fixture of the season.

Where:

Wherever in London Arsenal plays. I don’t know London, guys.

When:

1:15 PM American Central Standard Time

How to Watch:

NBCSN! It’s on the telly, blokes.

What’s at Stake:

Burnley entered the weekend tied with West Brom in points for 18th in the table, one point behind Fulham for 17th (clear of the relegation zone), and four points behind Brighton for 16th. West Brom lost yesterday. Fulham’s ahead of Liverpool by a goal with halftime approaching. Brighton plays Leicester while the Burnley match is going on.

The Odds:

The YAHOO SPORTS APP™ is saying BetMGM is saying Arsenal’s at -223 to win, Burnley’s at +625 to win, and a draw’s at +350. Oh, the doubters.

(in layman’s terms this mean’s Burnley’s got less than a 15% chance to win, and a draw’s only about 25% likely)

The Opponent:

Arsenal. Struggling. Still pretty talented. Right? That’s kind of always the deal with Arsenal, right? Hopefully they wait to get better until Burnley’s done with them.

Burnley News:

The ALK Capital sale is reportedly going through? The speculation is that this could boost Burnley’s finances for the January Transfer Window, which I was just taught/reminded is a thing.

Bertie News:

None. Though if fans are coming back, I’d imagine Bertie is too? So we should know soon?! We should find out soon if Bertie’s survived this all?!?!?
