Xfinity Series Drama Headlines NASCAR’s Vegas Weekend

All three series again this weekend. Here’s how it lines up:

Trucks: Bucked Up 200 – Friday

Ben Rhodes looks to stay undefeated on the young season. Tonight. FS1. Green flag expected at 9:13 PM EST.

Xfinity: Alsco Uniforms 300 – Saturday

Drama right now! After Noah Gragson ran into the back of a losing-a-tire David Starr last weekend, costing himself the race, Gragson publicly called Starr a dipshit, which led Carl Long—Starr’s team owner—to call Gragson an “over entitled mouthpiece who did not have enough talent to miss our wreck.” Starr and Long are one of the lesser-funded teams trying to make it work. Gragson’s team is owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr., who seems to want to stay out of it and let Gragson navigate the issue himself (though Earnhardt did offer some personal respect to Starr and Long on his podcast this week).

On Wednesday, commentator Mike Joy seemingly entered the fray, tweeting the following without offering further context:

This is fun.

Broadcast will be on FS1. Green flag expected at 4:38 PM EST.

Cup Series: Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube – Sunday

We got two sponsors, folks! FOX with the broadcast. Green flag at 3:49 PM EST. Joey Logano’s the defending winner.
