This stinks.
The season’s already almost halfway over and Joe Kelly’s going on the injured list with shoulder inflammation. And we haven’t even heard how his appeal’s turned out yet.
On the bright side, ten days plus the suspension is probably enough time for Kelly’s shoulder to heal, and I have a great ginger tea recipe I’ll be sending our guy to help with the inflammation (just kidding I won’t send it to him but Joe, if you’re reading this, hit me up). And to be fair, we should’ve seen this coming—I think he’s only topped out at 99 mph so far, so it was clear something was up.
Most importantly, he’ll be fresh for October. Stay strong, fellow Joe Kelly fans.
