Today, the White Sox play the Royals for the first time since mid-April. When, if you’ll recall, this all happened.
On a similar note, the Reds play the Pirates for the first time since early April. When, if you’ll recall, this all happened.
Obviously, this could be a heck of a day. And to make it even better, the Reds and Pirates are playing a doubleheader, doubling the opportunities for an innocent mistake to be misconstrued.
So, while the decision for these teams to fight isn’t up to us, the stage is at least set, and all of us who love a good baseball brawl await in eager anticipation.
