A month ago, Rob Lowe earned himself a place on the Registered Hater list (population: Rob Lowe) with the following tweet:
Lowe didn’t always feel this way about Joe Kelly. He was excited about the signing back in December, comparing Kelly to Kirk Gibson and calling him a “badass:”
As you know, Joe Kelly has been pitching like a combination of Mariano Rivera and Zeus since Joe Kelly Bobblehead Night back on June 13th. He’s got a 1.42 ERA. He’s striking out 1.26 batters per inning. His walk rate has been 39% lower than what it was before the event.
Which gives us hope that the actor will see the light. Because at the heart of it, we don’t want to have to label anyone a Registered Hater™, and it’s annoying to have to plug my ears and say “NA NA NA NA NA” every time I’m watching Parks and Recreation and Chris Traeger starts speaking.
