What Book Is Lane Kiffin Posting on Twitter?

For those of you who are off Twitter right now, either full-time or to insulate yourself from College Football Playoff ranking discourse, some context:

Lane Kiffin posts a lot of pictures of what seems to be some sort of non-religious daily devotional. He posts pictures of pages from other books too, but this one’s been getting a lot of run lately. Here’s an example from today:

Three things:

First, I like that Lane Kiffin does this. There are very few people who could do this without being credibly made fun of. Does Lane Kiffin like this book? Or is Lane Kiffin posting this to show his haters his power? Look. I’m going to post something that, if LeBron James posted it, would make people double over laughing at him. I’m going to do it regularly, too. And no one’s gonna say shit. OR, is Lane Kiffin posting this just to make Ole Miss, LSU, and Florida fans all try to read the tea leaves and see where he’ll be coaching next year? I kind of think it’s all three. Good for him.

Second, I like this entry. I think this is good advice. Imagine your dream life, even if it’s unattainable. Notice what within it is attainable. Attain that.

As someone on the verge of being a failed/recovering college sports blogger, I’m going to try this.

Third, this could make a good Christmas present for my sister-in-law.

Let’s figure out what the book is.

I don’t know who’s taking the pictures (they seem to have painted nails), but whoever it is doesn’t usually include the author’s name, which I think is located at the top of the page. How do I know it’s up there? Because I found other pictures that sure seem to be from the same book. (Thanks, Google Lens and also ChatGPT.)

The book appears to be The Pivot Year by Brianna Wiest.

As a disclaimer, since a lot of what I found was people reacting to how much they don’t like Brianna Wiest: I don’t know who she is! I know nothing about Brianna Wiest. I only know what Lane Kiffin has shared, and to be honest, I’ve never internalized any of it besides Day 228 of The Pivot Year.

I liked Day 228, though.
