Ladies and gentlemen…
The Barking Crow is back in the podcast game.
After five long years of straining your eyes and being unable to safely consume our content from the driver’s seat, we are back to being a podcast people.
Specifically, I am back to being a podcast person.
Joe is not going to be hosting this show. (But Fargo will probably bark now and then.)
On Monday, we’ll be releasing the first episode of Two Dog Special, a sports podcast hosted by myself (NIT Stu) and a longtime friend of the blog, Danny Burns. Danny’s an accomplished content creator in his own right, having made a name for himself on TikTok back in 2020 and over the years since. He’s smart and he’s funny and I’m excited for you all to get to know him, just as I’m excited to get to know whatever Gen Z following he’s cultivated over there. (I am terrified of Danny’s TikTok followers. I have nightmares about Danny’s TikTok followers.) He’s a Michigander, for better (Lions!) and worse ([redacted]), and I am a fan of his dog, Jax.
We’ll be releasing the show on Mondays and Thursdays, at least to start. It will be available wherever podcasts are consumed. Our Linktree will be updated with various podcast platforms and our social media handles as we add them. If you listen to podcasts somewhere not linked on the Linktree, let us know. Aside from YouTube, the link to which will be up by Monday at the latest, the podcast is available on almost all known podcast apps, so search “Two Dog Special,” but also let us know so we can make that link more easily available.
For the time being, we have no plans to change the cadence of our written posts. We will still aspire to post notes from me and Joe every weekday, and we will still probably fall short of that aspiration. Once the podcast’s up and running, we plan to reevaluate (we might shift to three sets of notes a week or something like that), but I imagine written content will always be a pillar of The Barking Crow’s work.
Thanks for joining us on this next step in the journey. We’re grateful to have you with us. If you have the time, your likes, subscriptions, follows, ratings, and reviews will be really helpful as we get this thing off the ground. Again, here’s the Linktree.
Bark.
