Websites Can Have My Location. They Just Can’t Ask.

A few days ago, Google asked me to share my location with it.

I refused.

Right after I refused, I went to an obscure sports odds history site with a ton of video ads that asked me to accept its terms and conditions, and I blindly said yes.

This is the secret to major invasions of privacy:

Make it seem there is no other choice.
