This is a big question in the NIT world. Was Stanford, who won the title in both 2012 and 2015, a dynasty?
Personally, I say yes. Both championships came during the Johnny Dawkins era, and in between them came a 2013 trip to the second round, which is impressive in its own right. But hey—to each their own. I guess my overall point is, if Stanford wasn’t an NIT dynasty…who ever could be?
