Unofficial: 2022 NIT Dates

NOTE (1/13/22): Still no official word, but the rumblings are that they’re waiting and hoping, and isn’t that all we’re all doing? Anyway, here’s our NIT Bracketology. Get excited.

This isn’t officially announced yet, but assuming the NIT goes back to its pre-coronavirus format, these should be the dates you need to plan around for the 2022 edition of the world’s greatest tournament:

Selection Sunday: March 13^th

First Round: March 15^th-16^th?

Second Round: March 18^th-21^st?

Quarterfinals: March 22^nd-23^rd?

Semifinals: March 29^th

Championship: March 31^st

A championship in March? Seems fitting for a postseason college basketball tournament. Intriguing idea.
