Both semifinals were close, but this was the closer of the two. Voters have made it clear these things are bad, so let there be no doubt about that. When forced to choose the worse of the twain, they went with mosquitos. Maybe it’s the disease thing. Maybe it’s the lack of corresponding benefit (having a house is better than the alternative, having mosquitos exist does not seem better than the alternative to this blogger). Whatever the cause, the people have spoken. Narrowly.

In a victory for state governments everywhere, there is something worse than the DMV. It’s not a consensus call by any means, but the majority of votes in this specific bracket did go to litter. Congratulations to all loose pieces of trash reading this.
Mosquitos vs. Litter
It’s no surprise that mosquitos have gotten here. It shouldn’t be a surprise that litter got here, but we, the bracketers, clearly underestimated it by not making it one of our four things that got its own region named after it. Regardless of what happens tonight and tomorrow, litter has made its impact clear, and this blogger, for one, will be much more cognizant of its disgusting nature when encountering it in the future.
Still, mosquitos are the favorite. Those guys are bad.
