First off, thank you to all who submitted nominations. They were wide-ranging, and—as is so often the case when watching high-budget marketing campaigns designed to steer our choices—we all learned a lot about ourselves and each other while trimming things to 64.
Voting will start in the morning, but we’ve got 64 commercials for you to watch first. With the exception of one, we were able to find an individual YouTube video for each submission that made the cut (thanks to those who provided it themselves—also, if you’re nomination didn’t make it, it’s possible it was because we couldn’t find a video). Some of the videos were pretty grainy (shoutout to the Algebra Chant). Some of the videos had bad sound/video synchronization (shoutout to the Nike Rhythm one). But each had a video, except for one.
For that one, we just found it as part of a compilation, so start at the 4:08 mark for the Aflac Golfing Duck.
