Nice little low-stress win yesterday. Looking for another today.
NL Central
The Pirates are competitive, and the Brewers are impossible to kill, and the Cubs looked better in Tampa Bay. 35-to-1 is still very long for a team one game off the pace in the worst division in the National League.
Pick: St. Louis to win +3500. 2.00 units to win 70.00.
AL West
Over in the AL, it’s easy to make too little of the Rangers starting strong. The Astros aren’t as good on paper as usual. The Mariners are showing signs of a hangover.
Pick: Texas to win +225. 2.00 units to win 4.50.
Chicago (AL) at Kansas City
Seth Lugo’s been good, the White Sox have been the White Sox, and the bright side of the Royals getting smoked yesterday is that they didn’t have to use anyone from the top of their bullpen.
Pick: Kansas City to win –177. 18.41 units to win 10.40.
