We’re back. Last futures for last week, plus one Sunday moneyline.
World Series
The Phillies haven’t started well, but they’re not in too bad a hole. If you’re .500 in April, you’re fine.
Pick: Philadelphia to win +1800. 2.00 units to win 36.00.
ALCS
Similarly, the Red Sox aren’t that far from being fine. Only three American League teams enter today with winning records.
Pick: Boston to win +1200. 2.00 units to win 24.00.
Miami at Detroit
Sandy Alcantara is pitching better than anybody. Tarik Skubal’s obviously one of the best in the game, but he’s easy to overvalue. And things get weird on Sundays. We like the value.
Pick: Miami to win +157. 6.46 units to win 10.14.

These numbers are for the 2025–26 effort, which is currently scheduled to end at the end of the NBA Finals or Stanley Cup Final (whichever comes second). Sorry for the poor transparency. We’ll do a better job tracking the 2026–27 campaign, which is already underway with our MLB futures portfolio.
2025–26: –657.79 units (started with 1,000-unit bankroll)
2025–26: –7% average ROI (weighted by unit; sample size: 1,118 single-game markets plus seven completed futures portfolios)
Pre-2025: 0% average ROI (worse when limited to only sports)
