They Should Do Selection Sunday This Way

We’re all loving this election. It’s been the highlight of the week, if not year, for many of us. So the thought occurred to me:

Why don’t we do Selection Sunday this way?

Yes, I’m talking about not having just one show where CBS runs down the bracket and then we wait a while and then ESPNU runs down the real bracket (iykyk, as the kids say). Let’s have a week of that. The Big Ten, plagued by partisan disfunction, doesn’t start tallying wins and losses until the games are all over. Bruce Pearl screams bloody murder about how Kentucky blowing out Vanderbilt didn’t actually happen. UNLV only begins scheduling their season after the week has already begun.

I, for one, can’t think of any reason not to do this. Your move, Dan Gavitt.
