The Tire Place Hath Wronged Me Again

We’re re-entering the cycle.

One of our company cars (editor’s note: my wife’s car) is having problems. Maybe one problem. Maybe more. The ABS light on the dash is on. So’s the ESC one, which is evidently the acronym for Electronic Steering Control, which is evidently what they call the system signified with that logo that looks like the car is skiing. They came on at the same time, late Thursday night. They’ve remained on. Even after allegedly being fixed.

Three hundred seven dollars, and the car made it half a block before the lights lit back up. I don’t know what’s happening. And unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the tire place I took it to because the other service place couldn’t get us in until six days after Thanksgiving knows either.

I don’t think it was a ruse. I think they just don’t know what’s wrong. But I don’t like the side of this where $207 of the $307 was dedicated to something I’m not sure was actually wrong and now have no way to prove wasn’t wrong.

I’m writing such a mean Google Review in my head, guys.

Have to hold it in, though.

They still have our car.
