How to Watch:
It’s on NHL Network again. So if you get that, you can watch it there. I will not be watching it there because I don’t get that channel and I’m not yet invested enough in the Senators (or convinced they’ll be on NHL Network all that often) to add it to the subscription. People are like, “You can write off your TV subscription because of your blog,” and I’m like, “Yeah, but that doesn’t make it free.”
The Odds:
Senators are at +125 to win, so once again, winning is a real possibility. With this the opener of a three-game set in Vancouver, I’m making the executive decision as the Senators’ newest evangelist that the goal should be to get four points over the series. It’s a lofty goal, but the Senators would at least hold roughly even with the Canucks if they pulled it off, and might even pass the buggers to climb out of last place. Of course, I will also be happy with three points, or two, or even one. Even one point, provided it doesn’t come as the result of a collapse, would be better than what happened against the Jets.
