The Senators Did Their Best

All I’m saying is that it’s been a long time since the Senators lost by more than basically one goal.

The Final:

Jets 3, Senators 2

How It Happened:

Sens went up early but gave the lead right back, then after a long scoreless stretch let the Jets score two in the third to put it away.

Any Fights?

Nope.

Standings:

Not thinking the Sens are going to catch anybody, but you never know. And that might be good, with the draft being a thing that exists and all.

Toronto: 60 points, 43 games played
Winnipeg: 55 points, 43 games played
Edmonton: 52 points, 42 games played
Montreal: 45 points, 40 games played
Calgary: 41 points, 43 games played
Vancouver: 35 points, 37 games played
YOUR BELOVED OTTAWA SENATORS: 32 points, 44 games played

Senators News:

Jacob Bernard-Docker ended up unexpectedly making his debut when Nikita Zaitsev was a late scratch. So that’s exciting.

What’s Next:

Senators are on the road Saturday against Montreal.
