This happened a few days ago, but I missed it because I was not following the IIHF Worlds (look, guys, following the Senators was hard enough). Anyway, the Senators won the World Championship. Which is to say that Canada won but it was two Senators—Connor Brown and Nick Paul—who led the way:
In other Senators news, the Canadiens, against whom the Sens won the seasons series 6-4, are in to the Stanley Cup Semifinals, and this isn’t really Senators news but I saw it while looking for Senators news and it made me smile:
