Ok guys so the bad news is that Bruce Garrioch’s twitter account has disappeared which means I’m relying only on SensChirp, the Senators’ transaction page, and googling “Senators Trades” to make sure I’m catching everything going on, but I think the only big things since we last spoke are that they traded Evgenii Dadonov to Vegas for Nick Holden plus a draft pick and that they extended D.J. Smith. I’m, of course, all about both moves, blindly trusting the Senators with the doe-eyed anticipation only a fan who doesn’t fully know what’s going on can feel.
Keep up the good work, guys. Also if anyone can explain whether Holden’s good or not and whether the extra cap space is helpful or not here…I’m listening.
