The NIT Fan’s Guide to the Northeast Conference Tournament

Well, here we are.

The NEC.

The Northeast Conference sends a team to the NIT in zero of my colleague’s model’s 4,000 simulations. This happens every day. It’s been happening since Merrimack clinched the title and Joey Gallo tweeted those chicken nuggets. They’re the only league for whom this is true (though the WCC is close). There is nothing you need to know about this tournament. It will happen. You will not care.

Why isn’t the NEC sending any teams NIT-ward?
