The last time Texas played West Virginia, Andrew Jones hit the corner three to get a great win in Morgantown.
It was the last great win.
It was the last good win.
It was six weeks ago.
Trying to get back on track today, with a whole lot of distractions around after this week’s happenings in Texas.

The Opponent
West Virginia. The Mountaineers have been fairly quiet since almost taking down Gonzaga back in December. They don’t have bad losses. They’ve never been a dominant team. They’re right around Texas, and Texas Tech, and Kansas, and Oklahoma in that beyond-Baylor pack in the Big 12.
What Texas Needs to Do
Get the win. Get the good win. It’s been too long.
But man, depending what these guys have dealt with this week, it’s hard to put too high of expectations on them.
On the Court
West Virginia’s going to attack the offensive glass. This is what they do. This is the bulk of their identity. They’re not all that good of a defensive team, especially by their own standards, so Texas capitalizing on the opportunities they get will be important.
Could really use this win.
Hook ‘em.
