Ok so here’s the scenario: What if Major League Baseball gets scared that the Field of Dreams game is going to be a debacle and also decides it wants to promote vaccination and the only thing they think of that can address both those matters at the same time is to partner with Krispy Kreme for a Field of Kremes game and make all kinds of bizarre additions to tonight’s game like letting vaccinated players get two free donuts and making the donuts on bats real donuts and using glaze to mark the foul lines and putting piles of donuts where the bases used to be and putting donuts on the tops of all the cornstalks and imprisoning Aaron Boone in a cage of donuts and telling him to eat his way out while FOX shows a split screen view of that and the game at the same time?
I think it would grab some headlines.
