Saturday, old friend Steve Klauke (Weber State’s play-by-play guy) tweeted about Beekeeper alum Taron Johnson’s pick-six for the Bills:
I saw the tweet yesterday, and I was briefly confused. I forgot Taron Johnson was the guy on the Bills. I thought Weber State was playing football. I thought that the spring FCS season had already started.
Now, I still don’t know when the FCS season starts. But this has made abundantly clear to me that whenever it is, it will surprise me. I am going to be caught off-guard. And if you’re among the segment reading this that cares about the FCS but not enough to do things like check when its season starts, you’re going to be right there with me.
