The Barking Crow’s Next Book Club: A Damn Near Perfect Game

It’s been a little more than two years.

It’s time to do another book club.

After the rousing success which was our book club for “Have I Told You Guys About Maurice?”, we wanted to wait for the perfect opportunity to do another one. Turns out, we were justified. Our favorite relief pitcher wrote a book.

Soon, we will gather on the interwebs to do a Zoom book club discussing Joe Kelly’s A Damn Near Perfect Game, the book which will likely make this blog reject the authority of the Pulitzer Prize committee(s) in a year’s time.

We haven’t set a date or time yet—we’re going to coordinate with those interested and pick the time that works best for everybody—but if you’d like to be included, please fill out this form. We can’t promise it’ll be fun, but we can promise it’ll be fun, and we can also promise that the sales pitch at the beginning for the timeshare in Reno won’t last longer than 25 minutes.
