The Padres are accumulating arms. Specifically, the right arm of Yu Darvish and the left arm of Blake Snell. The word is they’re trying to compete with the Dodgers, and while we wish them luck in that endeavor, there’s something we all know:
We all know there’s an arm the Padres won’t get.
We all know that’s the arm that would put them over the top.
We all know that without that arm, the Padres will not be NL West favorites.
