Sorry, Stars. The Sens Were in Session.

Jimmy Stu’s evidently good after Radek Faksa almost broke his wrist with a slash, and you know what else? The Sens won!

The Final

Senators 3, Dallas 2

How It Happened

After falling behind 1-0 in the opening minutes, the Senators answered right back, then built a two-goal lead in the second on two Chris Tierney powerplay goals, a lead they held onto, partially thanks to Filip Gustavsson making 32 saves.

Any Fights?

Yes:

Sounds like Benn was trying to give the Stars a spark? Brown held his own. Didn’t go down when he probably could have. That’s my analysis as a guy who’s watched very few of these relative to the world.

Senators News

Sounds like Tkachuk’s gonna play Thursday.

Senators Thoughts

Good win, puts the team in a good position to open this homestand. Winning at home and winning against beatable teams is going to be important for making the playoffs.

Up Next

The Sharks come to town on Thursday. Nice little break until then.
