You might remember Thomas “Snacks” Lee. He’s the former manager for Jackson State’s men’s basketball team who, on senior night this year, suited up and did this towards the end of the game:
If you don’t remember Snacks, the short story is that, as you might expect from the video, he became a viral sensation after hitting that shot. In some of his interviews, he explained he got the nickname “Snacks” as a kid when, hanging around the Jackson State team, he always had a supply of Skittles ready to share with players. Since the college basketball season abruptly ended (Jackson State was set to play in the SWAC semifinals when it all shut down), Snacks has kept busy and kept us in the loop, posting workout videos and other content on Twitter as he continues to build a brand for himself. He specifically appears focused on taking up speaking engagements:
And today, he revealed he’s lost 40 pounds and counting:
That’s a lot of pounds.
Snacks is working hard.
And by the looks of it, he wants people to know.
