The Odds:
I’m seeing the Sens as a narrow underdog. -105 range.
The Opponent:
The Winnipeg Jets. Historic? No. They’re the Thrashers in disguise. Still from Winnipeg? Yes. Which means they’re probably still high on Christmas spirit (I read somewhere once that Winnipeg has great Christmas lights, but I’m not finding anything about that online, which makes me suspect that the person was maybe being a bit subjective, which is cool but also potentially misleading for situations like this, where it’s possible a Canadian Christmas light expert is reading this post and shaking their head or looking quizzically at their partner [blog-reading partner not romantic partner] and thinking I’m a fool). Should be a tough matchup in that respect.
