Senators? More Like Winners.

The Senators are playing well right about now.

The Final:

Senators 4, Flames 2

How It Happened:

The Senators (good team, on the rise, probably next year’s Stanley Cup favorites but I won’t say it because that would be rude to those who know more than I do) scored four goals, pulling away in the third period. The Flames (no complaints with them, but no Senators) only scored two goals. Connor Brown dazzled for the Sens.

Any Fights?

Yes.

Josh Brown probably lost that one. But he didn’t lose the game!

Standings:

Toronto: 61 points, 45 games played
Winnipeg: 57 points, 45 games played
Edmonton: 56 points, 44 games played
Montreal: 47 points, 43 games played
Calgary: 41 points, 45 games played
Vancouver: 37 points, 38 games played
YOUR BELOVED OTTAWA SENATORS: 36 points, 46 games played

I mean, not that far behind Calgary and Vancouver, even with the games in hand.

Senators News:

Nothing big, at least that I noticed.

What’s Next:

Four-game set with Vancouver (two in Vancouver, two in Ottawa) starts Thursday. Big one in the battle for last place.
