Well, this was and is a bummer.
NASCAR’s race at Talladega yesterday (full preview here) was delayed by rain, and though they fired the engines at one point in hopes of making a go at it, there aren’t lights at Talladega and they didn’t want to start without any hope of running the full distance.
So, it’s today. Today at 1:00 PM EDT on NBCSN. Should be a great one, of course, but the magic’s zapped a bit, and there’s a good chance rain moves in later this afternoon, so this could end up shortened, which would deprive us of the sort of chaotic finish we love to see at ‘Dega.
